We spent about 4 days visiting the Kansai region of Japan. We mainly spent our time in Kyoto and Osaka but did make a quick stop to Kobe! This area really felt & looked like what I’ve imagined a stay in Japan to be. Kyoto was the capital city of Japan, and the seat of the Emperor for over 1000 years. As such, it has a lot of historical charm and artisan culture features as well.
